Welcome to Eaglets!
Welcome to the Eaglets.
It's great to be back and to welcome some new friends along with reuniting previous friendships.
Over the hoildays Splodge our lovely guinea pig passed away. Luckily for Lulu a new friend joined her called Fluffy Cookie.
She has certainly made an entrance, hiding under the stage on her first morning!! Luckily the skills of our early years experts enabled her to be rescued and returned to Lulu.
She's very fast compared to the mellow Splodge!
If your child would like to experience looking after a guinea pigs during the holidays please let a member of staff know as we are always looking for helpers.
As always we love to talk to you about your children so please feel free to chat if there's anything you're not sure about or funny things they've said and done. We can also enlighten you on activities they've been part of during the session.
In Eaglet's we have 'the baking bag' and story bags to borrow. All we ask is that you enjoy some time baking or reading or listening to your child telling you the story and that you return the bags for others to enjoy.
Everyday is different in Eaglets and we follow a curriculum focused on the interests of the children.
These vary from day to day, week to week so we do lots of in the moment planning ,focusing on the individual needs of each child to encourage effective learning.
Everyday we play and explore inside and outside. We often get very messy and therefore need clothes that can be washed and are appropriate for ambitious and adventurous play.
We have a loose timetable of events that can happen during the week.
We often do extra sessions of yoga, field fun,Spanish and baking not on specific days.
Monday : Nature studies, field fun.
Tuesday: Tennis Tykes
Thursday: PE ladies pm
On a daily basis the continuous provision and special topics within the indoor and outdoor Eaglet's classroom cover the following EYFS ideals,
