Abbey House Museum

As the coach arrived, the children's excitement bubbled over with the anticipation of another exciting visit.

At the Abbey museum, the children had the opportunity to attend a workshop and then look around the streets museum. They went into grocers, funeral directors and even a pub! They learned about how life was in the Victorian times and had the opportunity to dress up in clothes from that era. The biggest attraction were the penny machines... they were rather gory! Lunch was much needed and the children ate in the abbey itself. This amazing day concluded with a visit to the play park.

The children would like to thank Mrs Foy for organising this trip. Mrs Foy commented that it is a joy to take our children out because they are always so enthralled in their learning and their behaviour is exemplary.
