At Kettlesing Felliscliffe Primary School, we value all children equally whatever their background may be. Our aim is to provide a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that does not discriminate on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, culture, religion or ability.

Any pupil with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) will always be welcome at our school. In the event of a parent wishing to admit a child with such needs, then every effort is made to accommodate the child.

The school does all that it can to ensure equal access to the whole curriculum for all children with SEND. This may be as simple as finding an alternative way to record an activity, or as in depth as having to organise a school visit with wheelchair access in mind. Such procedures are regularly updated in line with our Equality Scheme which is a legal requirement in all schools, along with meeting the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.

The school does all that it can to ensure that all parts of the building are accessible to all children including those with special needs.

You can find the SEND school information report and our accessibility plan here the link to the NYCC Local Offer can be found within this section

The school's special needs lead (SENDCo) is Mrs Elouise Foster, please contact the school administrator to arrange a meeting with her.

Mrs Foster can be contacted on 01423 770576 or via email at efoster@rbk.n-yorks.sch.uk
