Welcome to Eaglets!
Welcome everybody into our Eaglets class.
It's lovely to be back with some familiar faces and some new friends too. Everyone has settled in well and we will be welcoming more new children throughout the term. Lu Lu and Splodge, our guinea pigs, have returned bigger and better from their holidays and the children have enjoyed stroking and taking great care of them.
We will be continuing to practise our familiar words in several languages and the children will see Makaton being used and will have the opportunity to practise words in this too.
On Monday, we will be doing nature studies in the field, weather permitting.
Tennis Tykes will be on a Tuesday morning so watch out Andy Murray competition may be on its way!
Wednesday is Yoga day which the children are very enthusiastic about. I hope they will practise their skills at home, especially the relaxing one at the end!
Our very special PE ladies come in on Thursday after lunch to work on athletic skills with out Eaglets.
Friday sees us baking.
We will be continuing with our free flow approach to learning following the interests of our children. Currently, we are learning about animals.
Everyday is different in Eaglets but we always try to get outside so please remember to dress your child in clothes that can get muddy and messy! Wellies are an essential!
The areas of learning we cover on a daily basis are.
